Photo Review: Soundset 2011

Soundset celebrated its biggest audience this past Memorial Day weekend, with an estimated 20,000 hip-hop fans converging on Shakopee, Minnesota.  Two stages played host to more than thirty acts ranging from old school legends De La Soul to Outkast’s Big Boi to recurrent headliner Atmosphere.  The festival has steadily grown since its inception in 2008.  Organized by Rhymesayers Entertainment from Minneapolis, the event always succeeds in celebrating local Twin Cities talent while also bringing in national acts.  Here are some photo highlights courtesy of Colin Peters:

      Yeah. I’m sure they found YOUR facebook profile, and looked through all your photos to find a picture of Brother Ali.
