On Saturday, the Scissor Sisters played to a frenzy of fans on a tiny island in the middle of the Mississippi River. They weren’t there for the weekend’s Twin Cities Pride Festival; The Scissor Sisters were just one of thirty-some acts to play the first ever River’s Edge Music Festival on Harriet Island in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The two-day, three-stage festival was the first of a five year deal between the city of St. Paul and Live Nation Entertainment. The festival was headlined by Tool on Saturday and Dave Matthews Band on Sunday.
Festival goers enjoyed nearly perfect weather all weekend long and came from all over to see their favorite artists. The lineup was a diverse mix of genres as well as national and local acts.
