Becoming a (Working) DJ

Plenty of people are passionate about music. Many go so far as to meticulously and painstakingly assemble a ludicrous collection of eclectic genres and styles. Seemingly, a logical jump exists from music enthusiast to disc jockey. We’ve all been there, at a club or bar listening to the music which appears to effortlessly blast from the DJ’s laptop through the speakers. A sudden thought erupts in the back of your mind; “I like good music. I could totally do this.” DEATH STAR DJ’s Jason Bergman and Andy LeClair let us know what it takes to go from “I think I can” to a working DJ.
