Dubstep at Cable Club 5.20.11

The dubstep scene, which has gained prominence in the US over the past few months, had its beginnings at the underground music scene in London. Since that time, dubstep has become a staple in London, and a number of dubstep DJs have established themselves there. That’s why Tastemakers is previewing a dubstep event this Friday. Well that, and because I’m currently in London and want to give out a shout out to all our London readers.

There are two reasons that you should come to Cable on Friday if you’re in the greater London area. The first is location. The venue, The Cable Club, is steps away from the Tower Bridge, and offers some great nightlife in a great location. The second reason is obviously the music. The Cable Club features two rooms that will be cycling through DJs throughout the night, including 16 Bit, S.P.Y., Emile, Kryptic Minds, Emalkay, Greenmonkey, and many others. The show is ERGH vs. Basslaced, and even if you have 10 other things to do earlier in the night, this show is going until 6:00am, so you can dance to some music and then see the sun rise.
