Nateva, Here We Come!
June 24 2010
With Bonnaroo, SXSW, Sound Set, Coachella and all of those big name festivals behind us, it’s time for something a little more fresh- a little more down to earth. Nateva is the answer to what we’re looking for. Maine’s first Music and Camping festival, Nateva is bringing artists such as The Flaming Lips and Grizzly Bear to Oxford, Maine for a Fourth of July weekend unlike any other.
In isolated woods, festivalgoers will experience something unlike the other festivals of the summer- total immersion in the music. No Ferris wheels or celebrities being followed by paparazzi will distract you, but rather the presence of pure nature will narrow your focus to the music.
Named after the founder’s children Nate and Eva, the festival may be the biggest musical event in New England this summer. She & Him, Passion Pit, George Clinton and more promise to bring an eclectic blend of music that is sure to have a little something for everyone.
Tastemakers will be reporting live from the event and we hope to see you there. Have anyone you want us to cover? Post a comment and we’ll be sure to snag some pictures!
