This Monday night, the stars align to recreate my high school experience… Saves The Day, Say Anything and Motion City Soundtrack will all be on one stage performing their angst ridden pop punk hits both new and old. The bands are as eager to reunite as fans are to witness the event. In a recent interview with Chris Conley of Saves The Day, he expressed how much it means to be part of this group and to be playing this date in Boston.
‘It’s a blessing that we’re able to still be playing and growing with our audience and with these amazing bands. House of Blues in Boston is one of my favorite venues out there right now. We’re really excited to be coming. It’s rare to feel so close to the audience in such a big space. ”
Conley also noted that he and Max Bemis of Say Anything will be collaborating once more to create more Two Tongues magic.
Motion City Soundtrack is also gearing up on tour with a new album and a new video, exclusively available on Spin.
Whether you’re a newcomer or an old friend of the bands, each will surely bring back that raw teenage feeling to the stage in an epis evening of singalongs.
Be sure to check out the show this Monday at House of Blues and stay tuned for the full interview with Chris Conley in the next issue of Tastemakers, out December 1st!
